In 2022, Mary Ella completed her first master's level internship with Volunteers of America, where she worked with young people suffering from homelessness and complex mental disorders. In 2023 she completed her final-year internship at Center for Human Potential doing individual therapy with teen and adult clients under the supervision of Christy Atkinson, LCSW. Mary Ella has experience working with substance abuse, trauma, depression, anxiety disorders, and other issues. She believes that every individual deserves compassionate and informed care.

Mary Ella believes in an integrated approach to therapy, utilizing a variety of practices and skills to best serve clients. Some of these include Supportive Therapy, CBT, and DBT skills.
In her spare time she enjoys a good fantasy novel and cuddling with her golden retriever.
